Wheaton, Ill. Several Wheaton student-athletes from Thunder spring sports have been recognized for their efforts in the classroom by the CCIW. The 2015 CCIW Academic All-Conference Team for the spring season includes 76 Wheaton student-athletes. Two Thunder student-athletes earned recognition as the school's winter recipients of the Jack Swartz Award. Junior Hannah Considine of the Thunder women's track and field team was Wheaton's female Jack Swartz Award recepient for the spring and junior infielder Kyle Mellinger of the Thunder baseball team was Wheaton's male honoree.
