Elsah, Ill. The Wheaton women's cross country team participated in the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday for the first time since 2014. The Thunder women's program finished 15th in the 32-team event. The 15th place finish is Wheaton's highest finish at the National Championships since taking 13th in 1999. Today's effort marks the best finish for the program since the championships moved to the current 32-team format.
